After school activities for children
Welcome
Outside the Box is a new engaging program of after school activities, based on learning through creativity. We believe that childhood is a crucial stage for learning, creating and interpreting the world, and our main aim is to give children the necessary skills to use their imagination, knowledge and be confident about conceiving new ideas.
Our motto is “Thou canst not touch the freedom of my mind” for the main purpose of our workshops is helping children to develop their personal approach and give them the necessary space to unravel and express their own ideas.
Last but not least, we want to ensure that our workshops will be fun, make children inspired, passionate about learning, and be able to think....outside the box :)
We provide pick ups from local schools and healthy snacks, you can find more info about the food provided on 'Our snacks' section. Each activity will be of maximum 14 children.
Our courses
The days and time of each course are flexible and can be arranged according to requests and age groups.

In this course children will learn maths through games and group activities that will help them to have fun while learning.
Welcome to Spain
Weekdays 16:00-18:30
A course to learn Spanish language through an imaginary trip to Spain. Lots of role plays, dancing and singing.

Greek Mythology and art
Weekdays 16:00-18:30
We will learn about Greek mythology using art and stories as our vehicle.Children will explore various concepts that derive from mythology and will get the chance to transfer all these into art.
Exploring Artists
Weekdays 16:00-18:30
In this course, children will take a journey into the world of art. They will have the opportunity to explore different techniques and material inspired by famous artists, to create their own art work
Make your own Graphic Novel
Every Saturday, 2 hour session, flexible time
Children will learn how to create stories and develop their own visual style.By the end of the course,they will have made a short graphic novel of their own and gained a real understanding of the relationship between images and text.
Stop motion animation
Every Saturday, 2 hour session, flexible time
In this course, children will work in group to create their own story.They will use different material, make characters from their stories and their will bring them to life.
How does it work?
From 16.00 to 16.30 children will eat and play. Each group will benefit from a wide range of toys, books , games and drawings material. The course will start at 16.30 until 18.00.At the end of each session children will have 15 minutes of play time and the last 15 minutes of relaxation time.

About Us
Each course will be conducted by Viviana, a Philosophy graduate who has been working in various Primary schools in UK, and Yiota, a psychology graduate and artist who also has a wide experience working with primary school children.
Our aim is to give a creative touch to children education.
While offering subjects that cover part of the National Curriculum, we aspire to give children the necessary skills to use their imagination and creativity.

FREE TRIAL LESSONS

Given the great response to our first trial lesson which will take place this coming Saturday, 24/02, We decided to extend the FREE trial lessons for the whole month!

Easter Half Term Activities
4-6 April/ 9-13 April 2018
Fun activities, specifically planned for different age groups (4-11). Children will have the chance to learn and explore their creativity.
Our activities incude: Egg hunt, Easter Card Making,Easter Maths Games, Arts and Crafts,Puppet making and much more.....
Our snacks
All our snacks are meat free and home made.We can offer vegan and gluten free option on request.
